PHIC’s commitment to educating the next generation included facilitating an excursion for Hedland Senior High School students to the Pilbara Ports in October.

The year 11 Marine and Maritime students were treated to a tour of the Control Tower of the largest bulk export port in the world.

They learned about the PPA’s commitment to environmental management and stewardship and spoke with former students about the vast career opportunities in Hedland.

Their tour finished with a visit to the Redbank Mangrove Rehabilitation site with the Environmental team.
