The Town of Port Hedland hosted the first Hedland Grants Expo on Wednesday 26 March 2025.
Many of our PHIC members attended and took the opportunity to showcase their funding and community support programs and engage with grant seekers from local businesses, not-for-profit organisations, associations, individuals and event organisers.
Grant and funding seekers were able to access free, tailored advice to help navigate the grant process to increase their chances of success. Wicked Strategies conducted workshops providing insights and top tips for writing grant applications; understanding grants; getting grant ready; what funders look for, and 10 common mistakes.
