Thanks to the quick thinking of the BHP community team, local Hedland community organisations including Bloodwood Tree, Treloar Childcare Centre, One Tree Len Taplin and Rose Nowrers Early Learning Centre recently received a delivery of much-needed hand sanitizer.
The organisations all provide vital services to Hedland, and without the sanitiser delivery they may not have been able to maintain the sanitation levels that are required at this time.
Specialist Corporate Affairs, Krystal Mulligan, said: “When we learnt of the difficulties our community partners were having in sourcing basic PPE, we saw an opportunity to help.”
“We were able to leverage our existing supply chain and provide 5 litre bottles of alcohol-based sanitiser solution to each organisation so essential service providers in our community could focus on their service delivery.”
